Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had everything desirable for a pleasant stay, including tea and coffee in the room. However, the initial room I was allocated had some cleanliness issues with walls having blood stains, dirty sheets, and an unhygienic bathroom. Thankfully, the friendly staff swiftly moved me to a different room after lunch.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was superb, ideal for bars, restaurants, and transport, with easy access to the motorway and on-site parking available. However, the room was very noisy due to the pubs downstairs and had badly stained walls and carpet. On the bright side, the staff were very friendly and helpful, offering locked storage for our luggage while we visited a relative in the hospital, and they promptly relocated us to another room with a working shower. The dining experience was very good with plenty of choices, though it could be pricey compared to nearby options.
Staying at the hotel was a good experience overall. The room was spacious and comfortable, but it was quite hot with no way to adjust the temperature. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of their way to assist us, though there seemed to be some issues with management. The location was convenient for our travel plans, being close to the train station and offering easy access to town, but it could be noisy late at night due to nearby establishments. The dining experience was satisfactory, with a nice buffet breakfast and accommodating service.
This hotel is a mixed bag - great location and friendly staff, but the rooms are a bit dated, and the noise from the bar downstairs can be a nuisance. The service is quick and efficient, but there is room for improvement in terms of cleanliness and amenities. The location is central but noisy on weekends, with easy access to attractions. The dining options are basic, and the facilities are average.
The hotel's location couldn't be more central, right across the street from the railway station, making it very accessible to the city center. The rooms were a bit warm, especially facing the loud nightclub across the street, but the service was top-notch. The dining experience was lacking in warmth and efficiency, though the facilities were great for a central stay.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. While the service was very helpful and the staff cheerful and polite, the room assigned to me was not wheelchair-accessible as requested, making it quite challenging to navigate with stairs. The location was convenient, close to the railway station, but the view from my room overlooked the bustling main street. The dining options were good but the dishes tended to get cold quickly, and I found that some facilities were lacking.
The hotel's location near the railway station and popular dining spots was excellent, although some lighting issues affected the overall experience. The service was a mix of pleasant interactions with abrupt moments. The rooms offered ample space and storage but had limitations like low ceilings and poor ventilation during warm nights. The dining experience was mostly good, aside from instances like a late start and staff behavior. The overall value was reasonable with car parking as a bonus.
The hotel is conveniently located directly opposite the train station, making it handy for the city center and railway station. The rooms are dated and in need of an update, with a not-so-pleasant smell and cleanliness concerns. While the dining experience was acceptable but could have been fresher, the service was impressive with attentive staff. Overall, it's a great spot for socializing and convenient for train journeys.
The hotel is conveniently located near the rail station and various restaurants and bars, perfect for attending events at Bitts Park. However, the hotel requires significant improvements to meet expectations, especially during weekends with noise issues. The dining experience was mixed, with high prices for average-quality food.
